Basil Chicken Enchilada Skillet

With Winking Girl! Green Enchilada Skillet Sauce

  • 1 pouch Winking Girl! Green Enchilada Skillet Sauce

  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 8 corn tortillas (sliced into small strips)

  • 2 cups cheese

  • 5-7 fresh basil leaves (chopped coarsely)

  • Cooking oil

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

In a large skillet, heat some cooking on medium-high heat. Add the ground chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook thoroughly.

Mix in the tortilla strips and the entire packet of Winking Girl! Green Enchilada Skillet Sauce. Mix until all ingredients are hot and well incorporated. Add the basil and mix gently.

Pour the cheese over the top of the skillet. Do not mix in! Let the cheese melt over the entire skillet. The edges will get crispy during this process! (this is a good thing 😉

Remove from heat and serve warm with tortilla chips, avocado, more basil, and Winking Girl! Hot Tomatillo Salsa
