Fajita Salad Wraps

With Winking Girl! Fajita Marinade Skillet Sauce

Marination time: 6 hours
Prep time: 15 minutes

  • 1 pouch Winking Girl Fajita Skillet Sauce

  • 1 lb chicken breast (boneless, skinless, and cut into thin strips)

  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced

  • butter lettuce leaves

  • Toppings: cilantro, sour cream (or WG! Zesty Crema Fresca)

  • Winking Girl! Salsa of choice (we like Hot Tomatillo for this one!)

  • Guacamole or WG! Quick-a-mole!

 

In a big ziplock bag add the chicken and the the entire pouch of Winking Girl! Fajita Marinade. Let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight.

Preheat a pan on high and drizzle with olive oil. Season the pan liberally with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Drain the marinade from the chicken and add to pan.

Saute the chicken, the onions and the red bell pepper over high heat and cook for 8-10 minutes. Depending on the size of your pan you may need to cook in batches.

Once it’s all cooked set aside.

Place lettuce at the center of each plate and place the fajita mix in the middle. Add the toppings of your choice.
